Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.

Prayer that gets results?

The day started as every day before it, with every little changing of busy routine of subjects. Today was our Social Studies presentation and I was explaining about the micro conflict that occur in politics. My lecturer didn't mention whether my group's presentation was good or the other way around but there's one thing I would like to share :)

Actually, I used to wonder why Jesus used so many parables to get his point across. I have a better understanding of that now because of how many times God has used things in my own life to teach me. He taught me wonderful lesson about prayer, using my everyday's life as example. If I faithfully prayed each day for the things He put on my heart, for myself and others, He would work wonders as a result. He assured me that I didn't have to get many people to agree in prayer with me and I didn't need to have a famous religious pray for me. While those things can be good, I believe that most of the time the only way we can receive the answers to our prayers is by praying and keep standing in faith day after day. HE SAID KEEP ON ASKING, SEEKING AND KNOCKING.

Before this, early semester in IPGKI, Jill Erice Jimmer was always being nervous even when standing in front of the crowd. The funny part is when she forgot all the things she has memorized in times she felt uneasy. XD
But not today. I can feel the confidence in myself while presenting last fine evening :) I was able to present confidently and I feel more relax over stress. ( Even before the presentation I was shaking and I feel that my presentation was REALLY out of topic because I use my own theories) I felt my prayer was answered and THANKS TO THE HIGHEST! Other people might not even realized the same as I feel, but the most significantly is I myself :) And with that, I put my THANKS-SO-SO-MUCH to the Lord and I believe He always guide me in everything I do.

PRAYER:

Lord, teach me how to ask, seek, and knock the way you want me to do. Increase my faith daily so that I'll pray and stand in faith for the people and things YOU put on my heart. Make me patient and persistent so that I won't quit and give up before the answer comes.
Thank you for all the answered prayers I'll reap as a result ! :)
AMEN.
